AUTOMOTIVE TAG/TITLE CLERK & ACCTG

*** Prior dealership experience a MUST ***

Looking for an energetic, focused TAG/TITLE PERSON  to help us grow and stay organized and efficient.

The right person will be responsible on a daily basis to do in state and out of state title work using DLRDMV, dealer trades, wholesales, stocking in cars, used car purchases,  assist with scrubbing deals.  

Pay and Recognition:

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

The Tag/Title person  is responsible to review and verify all documentation pertaining to a customer’s vehicle purchas & title/registration. To ensure that all information is accurate.

  • Examine contracts to assure conformity to specified requirements
  • Verify all documents are signed and completed accurately
  • Process paperwork in a timely manner
  • "Understand deadlines and be able to apply the appropriate sense of urgency to all tasks"
  • Automotive accounting experience is a must
  • Strong attention to detail is required
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and comfortable in an open office is required

Reviews incoming deals for completeness/accuracy of paperwork

  • Follows-up on corrections needed for processing titles and securing liens.
  • Follows-up on payoff titles and MSO's
  • Completes all Dealer Trades
  • Understands and follows work rules and procedures
  • Follows lawful directions from supervisors
  • Upholds the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements
  • Other duties as assigned
