7:30am-4pm M-F
$18.50/hr
Job Summary: As a paint filler, your primary responsibility is to fill containers with paint and related products according to specified requirements. You will ensure accurate measurement, proper sealing, and labeling of filled containers, while adhering to safety and quality standards throughout the process.
Responsibilities:
  1. Operate filling equipment to accurately dispense paint and related products into containers, such as cans, pails, or drums.
  2. Verify the correct product, color, and quantity before initiating the filling process.
  3. Monitor and adjust filling equipment to maintain precision and efficiency.
  4. Seal and label filled containers in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the filling area and equipment, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
  6. Perform quality checks to ensure filled containers meet established specifications.
  7. Communicate any equipment malfunctions, quality deviations, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
  8. Adhere to relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and procedures.
  9. Keep accurate records of production output, material usage, and quality control data.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with filling equipment and tools, and the ability to perform basic troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of measurements and units of weight, volume, and rate.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Physical capability to lift and move containers and materials.
Work Environment: The work environment for a paint container filler typically involves a manufacturing or production setting, with exposure to paint fumes, noise, and equipment. Adherence to safety procedures and the proper use of personal protective equipment are essential.
