Regional Health Services of Howard County is hiring: Surgical RN in Cresco

POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a Surgical RN to join our Surgery team! This Surgical RN is a qualified RN who is responsible for all nursing care of patients in the operating room, recovery room, endoscopy, and for pre-operative education. This position requires call time.

* This position is Modified Full Time, 72 hours every 2 weeks *

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Current RN license in State of Iowa
2. Previous experience as RN in most hospital nursing situations, including critical care. Operating Room experience is preferred.
3. ACLS certified and PALS certified.
4. High energy level with ability to work under stress and exhibit maturity, stability, and flexibility.
5. Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with Medical Staff.
6. BLS (CPR) certified or obtained within 3 months of employment.
