Salary Range: $75,000 - $87,000

This full-time, permanent position offers day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., allowing for a balanced schedule.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clients specialized team, providing exceptional care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. The RN will be responsible for managing patient care, administering chemotherapy, and offering education and support to patients and families. This role offers a collaborative work environment with a focus on patient-centered care and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients health status, response to treatment, and potential side effects.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effect management, and post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and other team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatments accurately and promptly.
• Provide emotional support and resource guidance to patients and families throughout the treatment journey.
• Ensure patient safety by following protocols for medication administration and infection control.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain and advance oncology-specific nursing skills.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
• Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of oncology nursing experience.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• BLS certification required; ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification preferred.
