Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse to join our Behavioral Health Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in an Acute Care environment.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment and support services.
• Utilize electronic health records systems such as Epic for documentation and patient management.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Assist in crisis intervention and management of acute psychiatric symptoms.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Requirements

• A valid RN nursing license.
• 1 year hospital or LTAC experience.
• We will train you into unit (No prior Psyc experience required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

+Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Assistance
