We are actively seeking an experienced RN to join our Richardson, Texas-based home health agency as a Clinical Manager. This pivotal role will serve as a crucial link between our Director of Nursing and our dedicated clinical staff, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between the Director of Nursing and clinical staff, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure strict adherence to state and federal regulations, maintaining compliance across all operations.
- Provide comprehensive education and training to clinical staff on updated policies and procedures.
- Participate actively in the recruitment and selection process for nursing personnel.
- Manage and oversee clinical and administrative functions, including meticulous recordkeeping.
- Respond promptly and professionally to phone inquiries and referrals with compassion and expertise.
- Participate in on-call nursing schedule and deliver skilled bedside nursing care as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate care provided by clinical staff, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare providers regarding patient care plans.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans, ensuring they meet patient needs.
- Oversee Quality Assurance and utilization review activities, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct regular supervisory visits and ensure thorough coordination of client care.
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a home health setting.
- Proficiency in OASIS documentation and other relevant clinical software.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a clinical team.
- Thorough understanding of state and federal regulations governing home health agencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Full-time position with an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday.
- On-call availability as needed.
