Department/Unit: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Shift: Day Shift (12-hour shifts, open availability required)
Number of Weeks: 13
Salary: $40 - $50 per hour
Job Description:EliteCare Medical Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Travel Nurse - RN-NICU to join our team in Bakersfield. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide specialized care to critically ill infants in a supportive environment.
Qualifications:- Education: RN Degree from an accredited institution.
- License: Current New Jersey RN License.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a NICU setting.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide necessary interventions.
