Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Telemetry, you will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care during night shifts. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, your role involves monitoring patients with cardiac conditions, performing patient assessments, and administering IV medications. Your core skills in catheterization and basic life support will be vital, while premium skills in critical care and familiarity with EMR systems like Epic and Cerner will enhance patient outcomes. Role:

  • Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
  • Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
  • Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
  • Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
  • Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in patient care and assessment
  • Skilled in IV insertion and catheterization
  • Knowledgeable in EMR and EHR systems, including Epic and Cerner
  • Experience in telemetry and critical care settings
  • Familiarity with tube feeding and airway management
  • Strong understanding of physiology and health coaching techniques
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, particularly during night shifts

Requirments:

  • 2+ Year of Experience-Required
  • Certification - BLS & ACLS
  • RN State license - Michigan

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $62.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
