Hospice RN After Hours Job at Seasoned Recruitment in Bethel Park

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice team for after-hours care. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospice care and a passion for providing comfort and support to patients and their families during their end-of-life journey.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to hospice patients in their homes during the evening and overnight hours
• Assess and manage patients' symptoms, including pain, nausea, and anxiety
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition
• Educate patients and families about hospice care and end-of-life issues
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families
• Collaborate with other members of the hospice team, including physicians, social workers, and chaplains

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [state]
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospice care
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of hospice care practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
