Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Welding Fabricator who will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, setting up and operating welding equipment, and fabricating metal structures and components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Set up and operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welders.
- Perform welding tasks including cutting, grinding, and assembling metal components.
- Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain and repair welding equipment and tools.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time and to the highest standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Welding Fabricator with expertise in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Proficient in using welding tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in welding.
