Skills
- 3+ years of inspection experience in the vessel, tank, piping, and/or structural steel industry
- Current API 510, 653, and/or 570 certification or ability to pass the exam within 6 months
- NDT certifications or qualification to NDT Level II in UT, MT, PT, & MFE
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification
- Working knowledge of industry standard codes CAWS, API, ASME, NACE, and ANSI
- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD
Responsibilities
- Conduct visual inspections and PSM (API 653, 570, and 510) evaluations
- Perform fabrication shop and field inspections of welded and bolted structural steel
- Execute testing techniques including MT, PT, UTT, UTS, Phased Array UT, MFE, and Vacuum Box
- Load test components using portable hydraulic systems and calibrated load cells
- Write technical reports and complete Code calculations for inspections performed
- Manage projects related to PSM and structural inspections
- Maintain positive relationships with clients while promoting SIDs services
Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
- 3+ years of relevant inspection experience
- Relevant certifications as outlined in the skills section
Education Requirements
- Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience

- Engineering or related technical field certifications preferred
