Back A Yard Caribbean Grill in San Jose, CA is looking for one cashier to join our team. We are located on 457 E San Carlos St, San Jose, CA 95112. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and engaged.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional dining experience to every customer, every time
  • Prepare bills for food and accept payment or make change.
  • Balance receipts and payments in cash registers.
  • Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Handle cash/card transaction
  • Make sales referrals and introduce the new items on the menu
  • Run foods and drinks to guests’ tables
  • Take customers’ orders over the telephone
  • Fill-in for fellow employees, where needed, to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as a cashier or in customer service
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively
