LUV Car Wash was founded in Sept of 2021, and we have rapidly grown to over 70 locations in 6 states, including CA, NV, FL, GA, PA, and NJ. We are looking to add a Cashier to our growing team to help us continue our mission to become the best car wash in the industry.

General Summary of Duties: Our cashier is responsible for processing cash, debit, credit, and check transactions using a cash register or other point-of-sale system in a retail environment. Their duties include balancing the cash register, making change, recording purchases, processing returns and scanning items for sale.


Reports to: General Manager

FLSA Status: Non - Exempt


Physical Demands:

  • Occasional prolonged periods of walking/standing.
  • Work outside in varying weather conditions.
  • Standing for long periods of time during shift.
  • Having a sense of urgency while maintaining a friendly & courteous attitude.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted.

Essential Functions:

  • Process sales transactions.
  • Calculate the cost of products or services.
  • Accept payments.
  • Calculate and return change when required by the payment method.
  • Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change.
  • Answer customer questions about products or services.
  • Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts.
  • Report issues with equipment.
  • Work as a team to meet store sales goals.
  • Maintain clean and tidy checkout area.
  • Assist in stocking and rotating merchandise.
  • Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
  • Stay up to date on merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product information.

Job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to the job position. Every employee is required to remain updated on company policies and affairs through appropriate sources, such as the internal employee website.


Requirements:


Education:

  • HS Diploma or GED preferred.


Requirements:

  • 10 key and Point of Sale system (POS) experience preferred.
