For our MANGO stores in New York City we are currently recruiting Multifunctional Cashier Associates to join our team.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is positive, energetic and enjoys providing excellent customer service while working at the point of sale. Your aim will be to promote the brand’s image and to maintain the highest standard of customer service at all times, to sell and gain the loyalty of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Welcome, smile and greet customers while recommending products, describing merchandise and finalizing sales.
· Maintain an optimal store image that is attractive to customers at the point of checkout.
· Serve multiple customers simultaneously and offer excellent service while processing sales transactions involving cash and credit.
· Aim to achieve and exceed sale targets, individually and as a team.
· Prioritize customer service above all other tasks.
Previous experience of working in fashion retail is desirable but not required. We are looking for individuals who are vibrant, outgoing and can demonstrate excellent communication skills, teamwork and a proactive attitude with enthusiasm to represent the brand through the delivery of excellent customer service in order to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Requirements:
· Preferred 1+ years prior work experience in a retail sales environment
· Customer service oriented
· Independent work ethic, time management skills
· Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually, and as a team
· High energy, enthusiastic, passionate and upbeat attitude
· Fosters genuine connection through compassion, empathy, integrity and building trusting relationships
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to adapt – energy and speed
· Computer skills to operate point of sale system is a plus

The pay rate for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $17.50/hourly; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay rate at any time.
