Cashier Job at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the department managers, the Cashier operates a cash register, receives payments of cash, checks and charges from customers or employees for goods or services, making change and issuing receipts or tickets to customers. The Cashier performs a variety of routine tasks in the kitchen, tray line, and related areas according to standard practices and procedures in order to maintain a safe, efficient, and sanitary work environment. The Cashier is responsible for filling all food/beverage requisitions received from patient service areas in an accurate and timely manner in order to assist in maintaining quality patient care.

Schedule: 2 shifts during the week 6:00 am- 2:30 pm and 11:00 am- 7:30 pm, every other weekend, every other holiday.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED required

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to listen to others

• Demonstrated written communication skills

• Strong verbal communication and listening skills

• Ability to identify inferior products and unsafe equipment

• Ability to follow portion controls using appropriate utensils

• Utilizes standardized recipes
