LakeSide Entertainment is hiring a Slot Attendant/Cage Cashier to work at our Union Springs location. Our Class II video gaming machines offer the thrills of big casino gambling in a much smaller, friendlier gaming environment, allowing our employees to collaborate closely with co workers and assist customers.

Slot Attendant/ Cage Cashier:

  • Perform routine procedures with gaming machine printers, bill validators, adding/removing paper and performing minor repairs.
  • Monitors the operation of gaming machines and participates in payout of manual jackpots in accordance with policy.
  • Complete written department forms to document cash transactions.
  • Maintain secure key controls.
  • Perform minor machine maintenance and reset machines.
  • Maintain a consistent, regular attendance record.
  • Held accountable, to the highest degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of property records and reports.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of facilities, as well as special events on property, to advise customers of same, whenever possible.
  • Ensures security of company assets including cash and vouchers.
  • Assists guests with all transactions.
  • Independently counts, records, and balances funds.
  • Have excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • Be a dedicated collaborator.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, flexible and positive when adjusting to change.
  • Have attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Communicate openly with others (customers, coworkers, and manager/supervisors) to aid in the smooth operation of the gaming facility.
  • Provide red carpet customer service for each patron and employee you may meet.
  • Maintain an elevated level of productivity.
  • Work to build relationships with existing customers and work to foster relationships with new guests.
  • Possess the capacity to work independently with minimal direction.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have at least 1 year experience handling large sums of cash.
  • Must have at least 1 year experience in customer service.
  • Must be able to obtain gaming license (no felony convictions). Gaming license will be obtained by LakeSide Entertainment at no cost to the employee.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Must be able to work quickly and accurately in a loud environment.
  • Must be able to remain on feet for 6+ hours and lift approximately 40 pounds.
  • Must have flexible availability as late nights, weekends, rotating overnights and holidays are required.

Hours per week:

  • Full time: 30-40+ hours

General Shifts:

  • Sunday - Thursday 7:00 AM-3:00 PM/3:00 PM-11:00 PM/10:00PM-6:00AM
  • Friday & Saturday 7:00 AM-4:00 PM and 4:00 PM-1:00 AM/10:00PM-6:00AM
  • Rotating overnight shifts required

Education:

  • High school or equivalent OR currently enrolled in equivalent program at time of hire.

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (required)
