Great American Cookies is hiring: Cake Decorator & Cashier in The Colony

We’re looking for a talented and friendly Cake Decorator & Cashier to join our team at Great American Cookies & Marble Slab Creamery! If you have a passion for creating beautiful, delicious cakes and delivering exceptional customer service, we’d love to meet you!

Responsibilities:

• Cake Decorating: Use your skills to create beautifully decorated cakes, cookies, and ice cream treats that delight our customers and reflect our brand standards.
• Customer Service: Provide friendly, prompt, and accurate service to customers at the register, helping with orders and handling transactions efficiently.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the workspace, decorating tools, and equipment are clean and sanitized. Support daily cleaning and maintenance routines in the store to meet health and safety standards.
• Cash Register Operations: Accurately operate the cash register, manage cash transactions, and maintain accurate records.
• Quality Control: Ensure that each decorated item meets company standards for presentation, taste, and quality.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in cake decorating.
• Food Handlers Card: Current, valid Food Handlers Card required.
• Attention to Detail: Must have a high standard for quality and a keen eye for design and detail.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic and ability to manage time effectively.
• Customer-Focused Attitude: Friendly, professional, and courteous with excellent communication skills.

Schedule & Compensation:
Flexible shifts available, with competitive pay based on experience.

MONDAY AND TUESDAY MORNINGS ARE MANDATORY SHIFTS FOR THIS JOB!
