Tide Cleaners is hiring: Cashier Lead in Birmingham

Tide Cleaners is looking for a qualified Lead (Cashier) for our Birmingham, MI Dry Cleaners location with the strong ability to handle customer service issues

Store Hours: 7am-7pm, 2 shifts

Strong customer service skills, cash handling, and time management skills are a requirement for this position. Dry cleaning experience is not required.

Job Description:

• Greet and assist all walk-in guests in the store
• Meet, greet and assist all valet drive-up guests at their car
• Provide exceptional guest service to customers
• Follow the Company’s new customer protocol
• Attend Company offered ongoing training and education
• Process guest phone and personal relations
• Assist guests with cleaning, stain and/or finishing needs and/or concerns
• Sort and examine articles, picking out those that may need hand spotting or stain treatment
• Mark-In incoming guest orders; identify garments to be laundered or dry cleaned, tag, mark and classify all pieces and input information into the computerized register (POS touch screen)
• Ability to multi-task
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have open availability

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
