Position Summary:
The Warehouse Associate I works within the fulfillment division of the Distribution Department to ensure TLF products are getting to consumers in a timely manner that either meets or exceeds the expectations of the customer. Their responsibilities include picking, packing, and shipping orders and ensuring assigned department tasks are completed accurately and in accordance with the attached deadline.
Essential Functions:
- Picking orders based on picking tickets in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Packing orders in a presentable manner that does not overstuff packages or put garments at risk of damage.
- Responsible for all pick, pack, and ship processes for all outbound D2C orders daily.
- Responsible for all pick, pack, and ship processes for all B2B outbound orders daily.
- Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
- Stocking, re-stocking and sorting materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness, efficiency, cleanliness, and always optimizing productivity.
- Shipping orders out to customers utilizing proper shipping methods.
- Work within assigned teams to meet required goals and team goals.
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized.
- Packing incoming stock away, taking inventory and reporting shortages.
- Ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to the pick-up cages.
- Utilize a continuous improvement mindset and assists in brainstorming to improve process.
- Provide constant feedback to the Fulfillment Leads and Distribution Manager regarding operational accuracy in areas such as inventory, shipping & receiving, production and repack orders.
- Maintains excellent physical condition of the warehouse (organizing, sweeping, dusting, and mopping, etc.)
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Manage special projects as required.
- Identify shipping issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, safety, and productivity and efficiency studies and analysis, continuously eliminating weaknesses or inefficiencies in our distribution model.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Microsoft Office/Teams and overall computer efficiency.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
- Basic computer skills/knowledge required to perform job functions
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fulfillment center (not Required)
- Previous use of inventory programs such as Excel, Netsuite, etc.. (not Required)
- Mathematical and analytical skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs, and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
