Warehouse Supervisor

Warehouse Supervisors are a vital part of the team by overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, direct and coordinate activities of warehouse employees, and ensure the proper product is being delivered to customers.

Requirements:

·         High school diploma or GED

·         5+ years of warehouse/distribution experience required

·         1+ years supervisory experience

·         Experience with ERP and Microsoft Applications

·         Valid driver's license and clean driving record

·         Pass pre-employment drug and background check

Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for warehouse inventory control for the shift and continually seeks out improvements or best practices.

·         Responsible for preparing freight for pick up and delivery.

·         Determines staffing levels and assign workload.

·         Responsible for ensuring order’s pulling and loading items for the next day delivery.

·         Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee's performance.

·         Responsible for the safety of employees during the shift. Directs investigations of all accidents and recommends corrective action.

·         Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.

·         Sending report activity for receiving and shipping for the day.

·         Maintaining stock inventory and warehouse organization and maintenance.

Skills/Qualifications:

·         Preferred 3+ years of warehousing supervision role (team player  building setting)

·         Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

·         Detail oriented and ability to prioritize, multi-task and follow direction in a fast-paced environment

·         Strong dedication to problem solving and process improvements

·         Continually enforces safety and maintains security and accountability of all company assets

·         Strong attendance compliance
