Position Objective:
The Warehouse Supervisor position leads teams and supervises people across multiple employee categories in material delivery and receiving areas. Drive initiatives to maximize efficiency in quality, delivery and cost.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manages and improves material handling safety, aggressively eliminates unsafe processes
- Leader of Warehouse Management System used to continually improve part location assignments and enhance overall warehouse productivity
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory and transactions
- Control and organize storage and inventory space
- Increase material handling efficiencies through continuous improvement and waste elimination
- Helps implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies and training
- Drives root cause corrective action projects and drives continuous improvement
- Define staffing needs and effectively allocate workload
- Determines and executes disciplinary action when appropriate
- Measure and address the effectiveness of employee performance and warehousing activities
- Interact with internal/external customers to resolve problems and drive preventative actions/initiatives
- Identify opportunities and successfully lead and/or participate on improvement projects (Kaizen or other) to meet established safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a minimum of 3+ years of successful leadership in a warehouse environment demonstrating significant efficiency gains, effective leadership, and tangible financial benefit
- Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing, strategic/smart warehousing systems & processes.

- Experience with material workflow management, logistics, inventory management, and warehousing functions
- Forklift Operation Certification
