Warehouse Closing Supervisor Job at MAG in Willmar

The Warehouse Closing Supervisor is responsible for leading the Warehouse Team in an operation that runs from 4:00 AM - 9:00 PM, M-F. This includes responsibility for warehouse safety, organization, cleanliness, and direction of the Warehouse Team on a day-to-day work plan. The hours for the Warehouse Closing Supervisor are from 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM, M-F. Additional hours or slight schedule changes are required as necessary. We aim to maintain a good work/life balance for all Team Members.

Essential Functions:

• Oversee all outbound departmental functions daily.
• Responsible for the workload balance of warehouse team members to ensure proper coverage to complete daily tasks in a safe, productive, and cost-efficient manner.
• Monitor and schedule training sessions to ensure all team members remain in compliance.
• Provide feedback to the manager for team member review and performance appraisals biannually.
• Directs day-to-day activities for the warehouse. Such activities include receiving, stock, picking, staging parts and shipping.
• Responsible for warehouse safety to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the local, state, and federal regulations.
• Recommends equipment requirements and replacements to the Warehouse Manager to upgrade and maintain warehouse productivity and efficiency.
• Responsible for the progressive disciplinary process in counseling, oral, and written warnings.
• Make necessary adjustments to support company objectives.
• May perform other assignments as directed by management.
• Climate controlled warehouse.
