Position Overview:
The Senior Supervisor, 3rd shift (Midnight - 10:00am hours may vary depending on business needs), leads the daily planning and work activities of a team in a multi shift environment to ensure customer orders are fulfilled error free and shipped timely while meeting productivity standards.
Responsibilities include inventory control, returns, receiving, put away picking, packing and shipping of materials or finished goods. Ensure adherence to all safety and administrative policies and procedures. Coaches and develops employees to achieve goals and objectives for quality, service and productivity. Your Impact:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Ensures replenishment is completed accurately and in its entirety daily; including managing proactive replenishments.
- Consistently manages SKU Mins & Maxs to maximize storage usage and locations.
- Becomes a Super User of WMS and understands all aspects of RF Gun/User Interface.
- Oversees/performs all scheduled Cycle Counts, research, and approves verified discrepancies.
- Works with Procurement to assign new item locations and create/maintain DIMs for new SKUs within warehouse.
- Actively guides and completes consolidation of primary and secondary locations.
- Communicates daily on tasks performed throughout shift.
- Creates and manages a robust plan for product location moves/updates to improve pick path productivity.
- Oversees the organization and maintenance of bin locations.
- Recruits, hires, trains, and develop department personnel.
- Assists with establishing departmental goals, monitors ad regularly communicates employee results to goal, and administers employee evaluations.
- Accountable for demonstrating Hanger values and holding employees accountable through coaching in a positive manner to achieve desired results in quality, service, productivity, safety and attendance.
- Leads daily startup meetings in an engaging fashion with employees to review previous days KPIs and communicate the days work.
- Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.
- Orchestrates the timely and cost-effective picking, packing and shipping of SKUs in inventory.
- Organizes work and plans associate assignments daily to achieve quality, service, production and financial objectives.
- Responsible for scheduling and expediting all work through the department.
- Builds good communications between the distribution center and its customers, clinics, Procurement and all departments within Hanger.
- Ensures a safe working environment and promote safety awareness among employees.
- Orchestrates compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and other governmental rules and regulations.
- Creates and distributes all department reports and summaries through timely completion of administrative duties.
- Actively participates in decision making during daily operational management meetings.
- Actively engaged the Supply Chain management and HR with all personnel issues and progressive discipline.
- Ensure adherence to all administrative and financial policies and procedures; lead and collaborate with employees to promote engagement and teamwork within the distribution center.
- Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.

Experience and Education:
Minimum
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of distribution center or warehouse experience
- 3 years distribution center supervisory experience or in a lead capacity
Preferred
- BS in Business Administration or Logistics and/or equivalent experience
- Five years of distribution center supervisory experience or equivalent experience
- WMS and RF Equipment experience
- Bi-Lingual/Multi-Lingual preferred, but not required.
