Job Description
Reporting to the Sportsbook Lead Supervisor, the Supervisor is responsible for the sports wagering operations of the during assigned shift including but not limited to approving or denying wagers in conjunction with the risk team, scheduling of staff, and ensuring compliance with company and state gaming regulations. Also facilitates all cash transfers to and from cashier windows and in the vault. Responsibilities may also validating identification of patrons, refusing wagers from underage or excluded patrons include balancing and auditing cashiers, reporting discrepancies and other risk related situations to management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling department staff, as assigned.
Deny wagering to all underage and excluded patrons
Monitors all monies being wagered
Approves and refuses sports wagers as appropriate
Handle escalated guest disputes in the Sportsbook
Accurately issue and redeem betting slips for guests while providing gaming information and abiding by all gaming regulations/requirements
Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow employees
Responsible for transporting change, pickups, and banks in a safe and timely manner
Responsible for accurate reporting on monies exchanged from employees at the end of each day/event
Adhere to money handling procedures and policies
Report issues and discrepancies to management immediately
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma and/or Associate’s Degree and/or Bachelor’s Degree with strong mathematical skill set. Must be 21 years of age.
Special Qualifications:
Strong background and in-depth knowledge of the gaming industry and betting process a must.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Previous high volume cash handling experience required
Previous experience as a bank teller a plus
Must display the utmost integrity due to handling large sums of cash
Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision
Interpersonal and communication skills; ability to act professionally and confidently interact with all constituents
Provides leadership and direction to direct reports
Demonstrates poise, tact, judgment and diplomacy
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
Language Skills:
Basic language skills apply.

Math skills and counting skills required
Reasoning Ability:
Common sense reasoning in a variety of situations.
