The Supervisor will be responsible for leading the roofing crew, managing construction schedules, coordinating material procurement, and ensuring compliance with building and safety codes. This role requires a hands-on leader who can foresee potential issues, solve problems creatively, and maintain excellent relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Enforce safety policies for all team members and subcontractors, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement effective plans for completing each task based on the project scope.
  • Coordinate the procurement of materials to ensure timely availability and minimize delays, avoiding unnecessary trips for materials.
  • Oversee construction schedules and activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant building and safety codes.
  • Maintain high standards of quality execution, keeping job sites clean and orderly, and returning unused materials promptly.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Use creative problem-solving skills to address construction and budget issues proactively.
  • Conduct weekly goal-setting and safety meetings with on-site subcontractors.
  • Inspection: Inspect all deliveries for quantity and quality, ensuring proper placement at the job site.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients by providing professional and timely updates on project progress.
