About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President for Sports Properties to take on a pivotal role in the management and oversight of a diverse portfolio. This executive will also be responsible for strategic leadership, contract management, new business development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure operational excellence. A deep understanding of the collegiate sports landscape, particularly in the areas of multimedia rights, sponsorships, and Name Image and Likeness (NIL), is essential. Applicants for the EVP position should have a Bachelor's degree in business, sports management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, with at least 15 years of executive-level experience in sales, business development, or a related field, preferably with a background in sports or media rights. The role requires a proven track record in account management, contract negotiation, and business development within the sports industry, as well as strong leadership and team management skills. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, with a focus on growth and innovation, and possess excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. The position demands frequent travel to various properties, conferences, and events, and the ability to influence key decision-makers while balancing short-term needs with long-term objectives.
