Overview:

Responsible for organizing, cleanliness, and stocking of the bars with supplies and beverage products.

Responsibilities:

• Assists bartenders in the service of beverages to guests.
• Maintains service stations, cleanliness of bars and re-stocks to par.
• Puts beverage orders away in correct locations, re-stocking of pump room, soda room, and changing out kegs as needed.
• Assists guests and co-workers in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Stocks main coolers with all beverage products.
• Shovels ice from ice machine into ice bins.
• Maintains deep cleaning of all beverage areas and equipment.
• Abides by all regulations pertaining to alcoholic beverage service to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Ensures compliance with all federal and state gaming regulations.
• Understands and complies with all State gaming regulations.
• Abides by company and department specific appearance standards.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements (skills, knowledge, and abilities)

• Must be able to work in smoke filled environments.
• Must be certified in the Company approved alcohol awareness training.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain licensure as required by the State Gaming Agency for the position.
• Must have thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program.
• Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly move across a large casino with a true sense of urgency.
• Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning.
• Use of going up and down stairs multiple times per day and elevators.
• Requires lifting of very heavy items such as beer kegs.
• Handling, carrying, or lifting items weighing up to 160 pounds.
• Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
• Ability to use near vision, see details at close range.

Working Conditions

• 24/7 high energy casino with a large amount of gaming entertainment space and large number of coworkers.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, adult language, and loud noises.
