OrthoLinks Orthopedics is looking for a non operative sports medicine physician to join our team. Sports Medicine Fellowship Ideal

Qualified Candidates:

· Candidates should have a medical license in good standing and be board eligible or board certified in a primary care sub specialty, PM&R, or orthopedic surgery (and wish to practice a non-operative role)

· Ability to work independently

· Interest in a Non-operative Musculoskeletal focused clinical practice.

· Scheduled and walk-in patients

  • Participate in community outreach, injury prevention and return to sports programs

Position Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an Accredited University
  • Kentucky Medical License or ability to obtain
  • Completion of a Residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics or Emergency Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehab, or orthopedic surgery.
  • Completion of a Fellowship in Sports Medicine preferred
  • Current CAQ in Sports Medicine or CAQ eligible if completing fellowship training.
  • Ambulatory experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
  • A strong work ethic

Dr. Hunt completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Bone & Joint Hospital/St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was a partner at Integrity Orthopedics in Mt Sterling, KY prior to moving to Tampa in 2014.

Dr Hunt’s practice is OrthoLinks Orthopedics. It was Tampa Bay's best orthopedic surgery practice. He offers a full spectrum of orthopedic care. This includes sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, and fracture care. He is also focusing on a special program for golfers that includes orthopedics, and golf specific techniques to increase thoracic rotation. The practice has now relocated to Kentucky to provide high quality orthopedic services to rural parts of America.

Dr Hunt is respected for operative and non operative treatment of all levels of athletes. His practice philosophy is to provide a level of care that exceeds expectations and set new standards of caring in a Christ-centered fashion.
