Job Details:
The inpatient Physical Therapy Aide works under the direct supervision of physical and occupational therapists and physical therapist assistants to assist with patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assists staff with patient care under therapist supervision
- Sets up of patient room prior to therapy session
- Follows IC protocols to maintain therapy equipment
- Maintains pars of therapy equipment on patient care units
- Patient population includes cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, pulmonary and medical-surgical patient.
- Works with interdisciplinary therapy team
- Assist with routine operations of the department
Requirements:
- HS Diploma/GED required
- Experience in the health field preferred
- BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to comply with all regulatory standards
Posted Salary Range:
USD $22.60 - USD $31.64 /Hr.
