Position Description:
Delta College of Arts and Technology is seeking a motivated and highly student-oriented licensed Massage Therapist to join our team as a Massage Therapist Instructor to teach massage modalities (Swedish, Sports, Connective, or Neuromuscular Therapy) at our Covington campus. The Instructor may teach the massage modality of their expertise and the scheduled days will depend on the modality they teach. This is a part-time, evening shift position with at least 20 hours per week and weekends and holidays off.Teaching experience is preferred, but not required. We provide all educational materials, syllabi, lesson plans tests, and classroom training. This could be a terrific opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with our students training to become Massage TherapistsRequirements:
Must have completed a Massage Therapy Program;Must hold a current and valid Massage Therapist license;
Minimum of four (4) years of work experience in the field;
Must have a high degree of professionalism;A High School Diploma and Massage Therapy Program transcript are required.Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
