Salary: $16-$18 per hour DOE

Body Harmony Physical Therapy is a private practice physical therapy clinic, located in the financial district/TRIBECA in Downtown Manhattan. Currently, there is an opening for a permanent part time physical therapy aide and administrative assistant.


Our ideal candidates are:

1) students pursuing a healthcare career and interested in learning about the business side of clinic operations

2) individuals with experience as a PT aide or healthcare receptionist or administrative assistant.


The position is from Mondays through Fridays

Hours: 8 am to 11 or 12 pm


Job responsibilities include:

Front Office Duties

  • Answer phones, schedule appointments
  • Patient check in, payment application
  • Insurance verification and Documentation
  • Insurance Authorization and Documentation
  • Prescriptions/Scripts Documentation
  • End of day reconciliation of Payments
  • General Appearance of the Office

Back Office Duties

  • Cleaning the treatment rooms
  • Stocking rooms with supplies
  • Inventory

Marketing Duties

  • Mailing of promotional material


    Ability to multitask and experience working in a healthcare related field is highly valued.


    You will work closely with the office manager and billing manager. We will train the right candidate for the requirements to run the front office independently, efficiently and effectively.
