We are looking for a passionate and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our school-based team in Oak Lawn, IL. In this role, you will assist in implementing therapeutic interventions designed to enhance students' physical abilities and support their participation in school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Physical Therapist (PT) to implement individualized treatment plans for students, focusing on mobility and functional skills.
• Provide direct physical therapy services, including exercises, therapeutic modalities, and functional training to support students in their daily activities.
• Assist in monitoring and documenting students' progress, providing feedback to the PT for adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Support students during therapy sessions, ensuring their safety and encouraging their engagement in activities.
• municate effectively with teachers, parents, and other team members to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities and support the overall educational experience.
• Educate students and families on home exercises and activities to promote continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate and organized records in pliance with school policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current Illinois state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
