Job Description
As our Dock Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all dock related operations, providing exceptional customer service to boaters and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dock.
This position is for the 2025 season, start dates range during Month of May, Memorial Day weekend through the summer availability required.
This is a seasonal position that may require flexible scheduling availability.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with fueling their boats in a friendly manner
- Monitor fuel levels and maintain accurate records of fuel transactions
- Operate fuel pumps and handle fuel hoses safely and efficiently
- Fuel boats while following resort safety protocol
- Provide customers with information about boating safety and local waterways
- Responsible for tying up boats upon arrival
- Maintain a clean and organized gas dock area
- Process credit card and cash transactions
- Lock up boat pumps during evening hours
- Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed
- Facilitate gas readings and execute ordering,
- Manage dock schedules
- Manage boat rentals and repairs
- Complete any dock repairs needed
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- Ability to reach and comprehend written instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
