Beginning as a Dishwasher and Salad Prep Assistant, this role is designed to help you build foundational skills in the kitchen and progress to new responsibilities as you grow.

Responsibilities:

• Dishwashing & Sanitation: Maintain a clean, organized kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and regularly removing trash.
• Basic Kitchen Prep: Assist in preparing salads and other ingredients, including peeling, chopping, and organizing.
• Inventory & Stocking: Help keep supplies stocked, organized, labeled, and ready for use.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to food safety protocols and kitchen guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support & Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff in meal preparation, actively participate in training sessions, and build new skills.

Requirements:

• Education: No formal education required, though a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: Prior kitchen experience is a plus but not necessary—we provide hands-on training!
• Interest: Genuine passion for the culinary arts and a strong desire to build a career in food service.
• Communication: Team player with solid communication skills; fluency in English is required.
• Availability: Able to work weekends, holidays, and peak hours as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing: Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Cleaning Solutions: Comfortable working with water, cleaning detergents, and other sanitation solutions.
• Lifting: Able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination for handling tools, ingredients, and equipment with precision.
• Temperature Adaptability: Comfortable working in both hot (near ovens and stoves) and cold (walk-in freezer) environments.
• Mobility: Able to walk, reach, bend, and navigate around the kitchen for the duration of each shift.
• Stamina: Capable of working long hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Adaptability: Able to work in confined spaces, handle high-pressure situations, multitask, and maintain focus in a bustling environment.
• Resilience: Positive attitude and openness to constructive feedback and change.
