We are seeking dedicated GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Janitors to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of our manufacturing facilities. You will be responsible for the inside cleaning of various areas within our facility, which operates similarly to a large hospital environment where medicine is made and packaged.
Responsibilities- Clean GMP facilities, restrooms, floors, walls, hallways, stock rooms, elevators, cafeterias, break rooms, clean room laboratories, baseboards, and windows.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow guidelines in the cleanroom manufacturing area.
- Read and follow instructions from a book/binder with rules and sign off on completed tasks.
- Wear a PPE bunny suit and fill out FDA logs while in the cleanroom environment.
- Document and write in real-time using a binder with SOP or 'Good Documentation Practices'.
- Perform floor care using push mops, vacuuming, sweeping with a broom and mop, and stainless steel cleaning.
- Clean and restock restrooms, break/lunch rooms, and remove trash.
- Wash windows and perform some maintenance or repair work on facilities or grounds.
- 1 year of cleaning experience.
- Ability to read, write, and speak basic English.
- Willingness to submit to DT and BG screening.
- Experience as a housekeeper, custodian, janitor, cashier, kitchen prep, car wash worker, general laborer, assembler, production worker, food prep worker, or dishwasher is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work weekends and adhere to the schedule after training.
- Pass D/B screening (waivers in place).
After 90 days, you will be unionized and receive excellent benefits along with increased pay over time. Employees will also receive a company phone and have access to an onsite cafeteria with a personal chef.
Work EnvironmentJanitors will work inside a professional environment that resembles a hospital, complete with offices, cafeterias, warehouses, lobbies, and laboratories. The position includes a week of training on a day shift (M-F, 7:30am-4:00pm). Following training, shifts are 4 on Swing from 3pm - 11:30pm, with options for Friday - Tuesday, Wednesday - Sunday, or Tuesday – Saturday. Dress code includes a shift at the facility and hard toe/slip-resistant shoes.
