Job Description
Join our team as a Production Worker where you will play a crucial role in the production line, ensuring vehicles move steadily through final inspection. Our company collaborates with top automotive manufacturers to create innovative vehicle modifications, including wheelchair-accessible vans, shuttles, and transporters.
Responsibilities- Install wheelchair ramps in transit vans.
- Lift up to 50lbs and perform assembly tasks using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Maintain a steady pace on the production line and assist in preventing bottlenecks.
- Identify problems early and work towards resolution.
- Utilize a variety of power tools such as bandsaws, circular saws, jig saws, routers, soldering irons, micro torches, drills, screw guns, utility knives, and air saws.
- Work independently and with a team to achieve daily goals.
- Use measuring tape accurately.
- Handle chemicals safely.
- Track supplies and notify management of inventory levels.
- Adapt to new areas of the production line and new builds.
- Train new hires as needed.
- Comply with company core values.
- Complete other assigned duties.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Mechanical assembly skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Capability to perform production-related physical activities.
- Comfort using a variety of power tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Comfortable using measuring tape.
- Experience in upfitting preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Participation in company safety programs, trainings, and adherence to PPE guidelines.
