We are working with an Illinois youth service department to help hire an experienced School Social Worker! This job opening is now accepting compassionate candidates that are seeking to help youth succeed and reach their fullest potential.

Assignment Details:

• Onsite
• Two openings:
  • Part-time, transition classroom
    • Therapeutic setting
    • 3 days/weekly
  • Full-time, K-12 caseload
    • 4-6 classes of 4-6 students
    • Therapeutic day program
• General duties consist of the following:
  • Provide 1:1 and group counseling services
  • Report writing
  • Consult with parents and multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments
  • Provide testing services
  • Attend IEP meeting

Qualifications:

• Must possess an active PEL Social Worker license
• Previous school experience is preferred but not required
