Job Summary:
The City of Lynchburg is looking for a Grounds Worker to join our team in maintaining city parks and green spaces. This position involves landscape maintenance, litter collection, and traffic control.

Responsibilities:

• Prune and maintain plants, shrubs, and trees.
  

• Perform tasks such as weeding, mulching, and basic landscaping.
  

• Use hand tools for ground maintenance.
  

• Set up traffic control in work zones.
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  

• Flagger certification preferred or ability to obtain it.
  

• Familiarity with landscaping tools and safety practices.
