Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide emotional and practical support to individuals and families, helping them overcome challenges, access necessary resources, and improve their overall well-being. The Social Worker will work with diverse populations, utilizing knowledge of community resources, counseling techniques, and intervention strategies to create positive outcomes for those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs, strengths, and challenges
• Develop and implement personalized care and intervention plans
• Connect clients with appropriate community resources, services, and support networks
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention to clients facing various social, emotional, or economic difficulties
• Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure they receive fair and equitable treatment
• Collaborate with other social services, healthcare professionals, and community organizations
• Maintain accurate and confidential case files, documenting all interactions and progress
• Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting care plans as needed
• Educate clients and families on available resources and coping strategies
• Stay current with trends, best practices, and ethical standards in social work

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) or related field; Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) preferred
• Certification: Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or equivalent (or eligible for licensure, depending on the state requirements)
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in social work, case management, or a similar role
