Maintenance Worker Job at Redstone Restaurant Group in East Longmeadow

We’re looking to hire a hard-working janitor who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our building. You’ll be responsible for all cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing restrooms with soapy water, and shampooing carpets, in addition to maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and emptying trash. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, and experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done.

$17 hourly

• Perform daily janitorial duties such as vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing restrooms, dusting furniture, and emptying trash
• Document areas cleaned and let managers know if major repairs need to be made
• Replace light bulbs, clean windows, shampoo carpets, and supply restrooms on a regular basis as scheduled
• Secure building by locking doors once cleaning is complete
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building

• Replace light bulbs, clean mirrors and windows, ensure cleanliness and supply of restrooms on a regular basis
• Perform daily janitorial duties such as vacuuming, deep cleaning floors, scrubbing restrooms, dusting furniture and fixtures, and emptying trash
• Maintain the cleanliness of certain kitchen equipment as directed by the sous chef
• Maintain the cleanliness and order of storage areas
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building
• Maintain the presentation and safety of exterior decor and pathways, and lawn year-round
• Some lite food prep may be required

• Must have a U.S. driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Strong working knowledge of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail
• 1+ years of experience as a janitor, cleaning crew member, or similar position

• Prior experience with facility maintenance required
