SUMMARY

Family Service League is seeking a Fee For Service Clinician in an outpatient Mental Health Clinic setting. This position is currently a hybrid of on site and remote work, providing both in person and telehealth services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide individual and group therapy to adults and children with full range of DSM diagnoses in a clinic setting. Direct service will be provided both in person and via telehealth
  • Complete all clinical documentation in accordance with NYS Office of Mental Health in an electronic medical record, including progress notes, comprehensive assessments and Individual Actions Plans.
  • Provide collateral contacts with all relevant referral sources, including family members.
  • Coordinate and linkage to community resources and for discharge planning.
  • Attend routine supervision/team meetings.
  • Understand and demonstrate a commitment to Performance Quality Insurance (PQI) and accreditation with the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services (COA).
  • All other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in relevant human service field required and an LMSW, LMHC, LCSW or related licensed clinical degree/permit required.

At least one year of experience working in a behavioral health setting required.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.

Candidate must possess the ability to multitask, problem solve, make clear decisions, and work individually and as part of a team.

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records required. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Flexibility to work evenings and/or Saturdays required.
