Maintenance Worker Job at Green Ridge Village in Newville

$15 - $17 / Hour

PRN (Scheduled As Needed)

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for preventative and routine maintenance and the upkeep of residential buildings, grounds and equipment to maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors. This position is also responsible for general cleaning of the entire building.
Qualifications:

• Two years of related experience preferred
• Formal or on-the-job training in plumbing, electrical, painting, maintenance, carpentry and general repair preferred
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License required

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Completes all general maintenance of the community (basic plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, unit inspections, painting, work orders, carpentry and maintenance support)
• Performs preventative maintenance
• Ensures and performs daily cleaning of entire building
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Effectively read and interpret documents and instructions
• Capacity to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve
