FLSA STATUS: Hourly, Non-Exempt

ASM Global has an excellent and immediate opening for a Maintenance Worker at Cowtown Coliseum. This role is responsible for participating in all maintenance aspects of ASM Global offices, suites, seating and workshops at the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Seat repair and maintenance to include cup holder removal and installation.
  • Maintenance of all suites to include drywall, hardware, painting, ceiling tile and fixtures.
  • Various carpentry projects in offices and suites, as required, to include new construction or repair.
  • Concrete patching, caulking and coating.
  • Painting of various surfaces, as required, to include paint removal and surface preparation.
  • All other duties that may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Two years prior experience required.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to understand and follow simple directions communicated both orally and in writing
  • Ability to take direction from multiple supervisory and management staff
  • Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment common to the construction trade
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of the construction industry

  • This position requires the ability to work flexible and extensive hours, including weekends and holidays based on the event schedule.
  • Operates in both office and shop floor environments
  • Involves walking, standing (for long periods of time), bending, stooping and climbing (inclusive of ladders); includes manual labor, moderate lifting and/or arduous working conditions; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; may work at heights greater than 20 feet.
  • Position may be subject to adverse weather and working conditions: dirty, hot, cold, wet, confined areas or other uncomfortable places
  • Position may be subject to adverse noise levels, from moderate to loud.
  • Exposed to the hazards of falls, cuts, bruises and strains.
  • Required to use protective equipment as may be needed for the specific task.
