Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about event planning and want to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, including corporate gatherings, social celebrations, and promotional activities. Your responsibilities will encompass everything from assisting with logistical arrangements to collaborating with vendors and ensuring that each event runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of various events.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure all event requirements are met.
- Help manage budgets and track expenses for events.
- Create and maintain event timelines and checklists.
- Support on-site event management during setup and breakdown.
- Communicate with clients to understand their event needs and expectations.
- Conduct research on venues, suppliers, and potential event locations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Familiarity with event planning software and tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
