Primary Function:

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the On Call Communication Assistant provides support for marketing and social media. The Employee shall be a minister of the Gospel and Catholic Teaching behaviorally while at work and in his/her personal life,

"...Live in a manner worthy of the call you have received." (Eph. 4:1)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Recognize and support the unique Catholic Mission of the Diocese by speaking, acting, and instructing consistent with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. The on-call employee may not espouse, in word or deed, any doctrine inconsistent with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Give evidence of living Gospel values by being an active member of a faith community and being open to the importance of a personal faith journey; strive to model the teaching of Jesus by attitude and example. Quickly learn and adapt to proprietary software and tools as required. Organize and maintain electronic and physical files related to assigned tasks. Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information in accordance with company policies. Communicate effectively with team members to clarify requirements and provide updates. Complete assigned tasks within deadlines to ensure timely project delivery. Conduct quality checks on work to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards. Create, schedule, and post content on the company's social media platforms. Update and maintain the Catholic Foundation's website, ensuring content is current and accurate. Assist with event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and on-site support. Track and analyze the performance of social media posts, campaigns, and website traffic. Provide administrative support for marketing and event planning as needed. Physical/Mental Requirements:

Requires coordination and manual dexterity; normal mental and visual ability; ability to lift as required in a normal office environment.

Required Activities:

Walking, sitting, standing, stooping, reaching, talking, handling, hearing, carrying, keyboarding.

Basic Qualifications:

Working knowledge of, and a strong commitment to the mission of the Catholic Church. Practicing Roman Catholic in full communion with the Church. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent human relations, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills Organized self-starter, capable of multitasking and working with a sense of urgency. Proficiency in computer technology, including word-processing and spreadsheets. Punctual and professional demeanor and appearance. Maintain confidentiality and respect for the privacy of donors and persons served. Successful completion of background, criminal history, and credit history checks Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in marketing, communications, or related fields preferred. Strong proficiency in managing social media platforms and basic website maintenance. Experience with content creation is a plus. Preferred Skills and Abilities:

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems. Basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
