Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Bay 9 Holdings LLC dba Edgemere located in Dallas, Texas. As a CNA, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Your primary responsibilities will include taking vital signs, dispensing medications, documenting patient information, preparing patients for examinations or treatments, and providing assistance with activities of daily living. Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time, hourly position with a salary of $17 per hour. Responsibilities: - Assist with the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care - Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN - Monitor and document patient vital signs - Dispense and administer prescribed medications, following all applicable procedures and standards - Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and transferring - Report changes in patient health or behavior to RN or physician - Help maintain a clean, orderly and safe environment - Follow all safety and infection control policies and procedures - Participate in teamwork, in-service training and other education programs Requirements: - Certification as a CNA by the Texas Board of Nursing, or equivalent - At least one year of experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred - Ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team - Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills - Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems EEOC Statement: Bay 9 Holdings LLC dba Edgemere is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against applicants or employees on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, or any other legally protected status.
