Requirements:
* Active North Carolina medical license
* North Carolina DEA (with an NC address)
* National Provider Identifier (NPI) number
Responsibilities:
* Consult with patients (0-3 consults per day)
* Visit the Emergency Department for closed reductions and admissions (0-2 visits)
* Perform surgeries, including wrist, ankle, and hip fractures, as well as incision and drainage procedures (0-2 surgeries per day)
* Stabilize and transfer patients with long bone trauma
* Gratis hours: 2-4 hours
* Onsite individual apartments provided (hospital-owned, clean, with cable and Wi-Fi)
* Must be within 20 minutes of the hospital at all times while on call
Credentialing:
* Providers must be credentialed with Medicaid/Medicare
* Enrollment with PECOS as a provider is required
