Hospice/Palliative Medicine Physician

Palliative Care NP opening in Alabama- Located in Dothan, AL - Tallahassee, FL 95m; Montgomery, AL 102m- Palliative Care Experience Required- Full-time, permanent position- Hospital employed position - Ideal candidates will possess or be willing to obtain an ACHPN certification- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm - No call required and no weekends - Deliver direct and indirect patient care for palliative care inpatients through comprehensive assessments and aggressive symptom and medication management - Provide inpatient consultations in critical care, oncology, neurology, cardiology, and general medical and surgical units - Collaborate with referring providers to coordinate a plan of care - Conduct goals of care discussions with patients and families to align treatment choices with their wishes - No outpatient responsibilitiesBenefits:- Competitive compensation dependent on experience - Paid interviewing expenses- $15,000 Signing bonus and student loan repayment - Health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance plans- Retirement plan- Paid time off for vacation and illness- Paid malpractice with tail coverage - Annual allowances for professional fees and CME
