Specialty : Non-Invasive Cardiologist Start date : 07/01/2024 ; End date : Ongoing Coverage type: Call + Clinic SCHEDULE : * MON-FRI 8AM-5PM * Weekends needed 24 HOURS * Weeknight call 5PM-8AM JOB DESCRIPTION : * Practice Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient, Call * Reason for Coverage: Growth of clinical services and provider departures * Call Schedule: Q7 * Call Ratio: Q7 * Average Number of Clinic Patients Per Day: 12-14 * Average Number of Inpatient Admissions Per Physician Per Day: Not responsible for direct admissions, hospitalists will handle admissions, 5-10 consults per day * Trauma Level/Designation: Level 1 * Number of Cardiologists Physician in Group: 17 * Will Other Cardiologists be Present During our Locum's Coverage? Yes * Will the Locum Physician be Required to Supervise Other Health Care Providers?: APPs will support rounding, and will need supervision; also supervise stress tests cardiac rehab as needed * Patient Age Demographic: Adult * Documentation System/EMR: Epic * Prefers local candidates or physicians that are already licensed in MN. * Procedures Required: * Echocardiography * Transesophageal Echocardiography * Electrical Cardioversions * Electrocardiograms (EKGs) * Treadmill Stress Tests * Chemical Stress Tests * Echocardiography * Transesophageal Echocardiography SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS : * Board Certified or Board Eligible - Required * ACLS - Required * MN License - Preferred * Local Candidates - Highly Preferred
