The Digital Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for expanding current promotional channels and developing and executing strategies to launch the Dream Exchange brand onto new channels.
The ideal candidate would have the following skills and background:
• self-starter who is detail-oriented with strong written and verbal skills
• an understanding of digital events, social media and email campaigns directed towards increasing brand awareness
• financial services copywriting experience to generate website content, email content, articles, as well as other written content as directed by the Director of Public Relations and the Director of Marketing
• track record of providing both interesting and engaging written content for a variety of audiences from laypersons to technical finance sector experts
• able to write about both purposeful and inspirational subjects, as well as in-depth financial concepts
• a background in finance or other business-related fields
• excellent grammar and research skills
Duties Include:
• Establish the proper cadence for all marketing pieces being sent out for events, including webinars and milestone campaigns, keeping the target number of registrants in mind for each event.
• Develop, implement, and manage the Dream Exchange email marketing strategy to subscribers and investors.
• Assist with the drafting of press releases related to milestone announcements, staff accomplishments and strategic partnerships.
• Writing clear and error-free content for landing pages that reflects the company's brand voice and style.
• Interpreting creative direction and technical finance information and turning them into persuasive writings for diverse audiences.
• Edit and modify articles, blog posts, website content, promotional materials and press releases to meet content expectations and cutting-edge industry standards.
• Design posts to sustain readers' curiosity and create buzz around the Dream Exchange.
• Develop and implement an optimal posting schedule taking into consideration metrics and subscriber engagement.
• Suggest and research new ways to attract or engage members.
• Track the performance of campaigns.
• Maintain an inventory of marketing materials, making sure all resources are accurate and current, while coordinating new material creation as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Marketing, Sales, Public Relations, Strategic Partnerships and other areas of the business to ensure brand positioning is consistent across all initiatives.
• Collect qualitative and quantitative data on brand health, brand strategy, social media followers, and advertising development, and apply insights to existing and new programs.
• Proactively identify new opportunities to advance the brand.
• Stay current on marketing, media, technology, and industry trends and requirements to continue to innovate and recommend new approaches to engage and connect with audiences in meaningful ways.
• Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms (text, image and video content experience preferred) from webinar content and other promotional events.
• Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels; manage and oversee social media content on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Proven experience building and delivering integrated brand, marketing, and communication programs and managing brand tools, processes, and assets.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 3 years' experience with developing effective social media and email marketing campaigns.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in finance writing.
• Experience with creating graphics, images, and video editing is preferred.
• Professional written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with social media monitoring and analytic tools.
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• The ability to work evenings and weekend events as needed.
• Experience developing and executing unique messaging for campaigns.
• A good eye for visualization, layout, and/or graphic design skills to facilitate appealing and effective communication.
